He has a book club called "A Year of Books," where he selects books that highlight ideas that influence society and business. "The Varieties of Religious Experience" by William James is the 16th book that Mark picked to read. William James was the most famous American philosopher and psychologist of his time and is still highly regarded. In his book he explores the mechanics of how people use religion as a source of meaning, compelling them to move onward through life with a purpose.
