Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in Digital Humanities

The University of Pennsylvania Price Lab has applications open for the 2016-17 Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in Digital Humanities. The person selected for this award will get to spend the nine-month academic year (September 2016 – May 2017) in residence at Penn. In order to be eligible, the applicant must be an untenured scholar in the humanities who received their PhD between December 2007 and December 2015. They are very interested in applicants who have an additional educational background in programming, library sciences, computer graphics, computational linguistics, or other fields relevant to digital humanities research, although this is not required. The recipient of the award will get to pursue his or her own research project, presenting this work at biweekly Price Lab Mellon Seminars, while also contributing to team-based projects at the Lab, and teaching one DH course during the year in the undergraduate College. The application deadline is October 30, 2015 and you can submit it online through their website.
