CFP: Gamevironments.org

The new online journal, gamevironments.org welcomes submissions for its first upcoming regular issue. Submissions are due May 31st, 2015. The purpose of this journal is to focus on video gaming as related to religion, culture, and society. Gamenvironments spotlights the technical environments of video gaming as well as the cultural environments of video gaming. The journal is hosted at the University of Bremen, Germany, as an international and multidisciplinary collaboration effort by the University of Bremen in Germany and the University of Helsinki in Finland. They are open to submissions that apply all approaches and highlighting all fields of investigation related to video games/gaming and religion, culture, and society in the diverse global video game and gaming landscape. The journal includes different categories such as: regular academic articles, interviews (f.e. with games designers), research reports, book reviews, and games reviews.

Publication: September 30, 2015
