Social Media Abuzz during Ramzan

When Ramzan started a few days ago, many people took to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media apps to discuss the special holiday. While many people posted things to celebrate and wish others a Happy Ramzan, others did not agree with people using social media to talk about Ramzan. A 24- year-old lawyer named Abbas Askari did not support using social media for this holiday. "Personally, I think that all of it is a sham. So many people put unnecessary 'abstract quotes' from the Quran on twitter and other social sites. Faith is something personal and I think that it should be kept that way, said Askari." On the other hand, Eram Fatima, a young entrepreneur had a different outlook on social media. "If I want to wear certain clothes during Ramadan and post about it, that's completely my lookout. I like posting about Ramzan because it is a part of my religion which I'm proud of. Hence, I don't see anything wrong with it."
