The Hobbit - Q-Method Research

I'm part of a research group that is looking at issues around the prefiguration and reception of the new 'Hobbit' trilogy and we are looking for research participants. The project is not specifically framed as a Religion and Media study but part of the data will interpreted within that framework.

Our primary goal is to explore the online administration of Q-methodology as a tool for undertaking media research that explores significant clusters of interpretative and evaluative response across and between different cultures. If you are interested in helping us, or want to check out the method please use the link below in the text, and you are most welcome to pass this information on to others,

INVITATION TO BE PART OF THE HOBBIT PROJECT
Whether or not you’re a serious Tolkien fan, and even if you’re a Hobbit hater, we want to know what YOU are thinking and feeling about The Hobbit prior to its December release. Participate in the one research study to rule them all at http://goo.gl/4vsvf
This research is being conducted by researchers at the University of Waikato (New Zealand) and Ryerson University (Canada) and has been approved by the relevant Research Ethics Boards at both institutions. No Hobbits will be harmed in the process of completing this survey, which will take around 30 minutes of your time. For more information, please go to: http://goo.gl/4vsvf
