Churches using card readers for donations

In a day in age when less and less people carry cash, churches have started implementing card readers during services as a way to collect donations. According to the Religion News Service, the Church of England stated that over 16,000 religious sites now have access to mobile card readers. Some believe that the mobile card readers are a much more efficient way to collect donations, as a tech startup in France revealed that the average contribution is 2-6 higher than cash donations. It seems like cash is becoming a thing of the past.
