Instagram users redefine the hijab

Many 20 to 30 year old Muslim women have utilized social media to display various ways to wear the hijab. Instagrammers have posted pictures of themselves wearing their religious veils in many different fashions with varying accompanying clothing. Consequent conversation has arisen prompting questions related to modesty, feminism, fashion’s place in religion, and the religious meaning of the hijab.
