Applications open for OII Summer Doctoral Programme

Applications are open for the annual Summer Doctoral Programme at the Oxford Internet Institute University of Oxford. The programme will be held at the OII, Oxford from July 4-15, 2016. Students are together for two weeks of intensive teaching and learning, which help establish peer-groups that will help you for years to come. The programme aims to develop student’s thinking on a range of issues of the Internet. Students in the programme are expected to present and discuss their own thesis research on these topics to gain feedback from both the faculty and students. The programme has an open atmosphere where students are able to work with colleagues from different backgrounds. Applications will be due February 22, 2016 and students will be notified by March 31, 2016. This is a competitive programme and there are only 30 spots available. The application can be completed online through their website and students should be supported by one or more of their current doctoral program advisors or dissertation supervisors. Students who are offered a spot for the programme will have to send in references.
