I come to digital culture studies as someone trained both in theology and in liturgical studies. My research in the latter disciplines has focused mostly on their intersection with questions of gender (see my most recent book, "Gender Differences and the Making of Liturgical History"). Over the last few years, I have also studied the growing migration of liturgical practices into cyberspace. I recently presented my research at the international congress of Societas Liturgica in Wuerzburg, Germany. The paper will be published later this year in the journal "Worship."
