Using AI to explain religious conflict

According to Cosmos Magazine, a team led by Justin Lane from Oxford University, created a model that uses “psychologically realistic AI” to better understand religious violence, and potentially how to control it. The research team combined computer modeling and cognitive psychology to create an AI system that allowed them to determine patterns for religious tensions. Lane stated that this development was the first time that multi-agent AI has been used in creating psychologically realistic computer models.
