CFP: Joss Whedon's Firefly

The Religion CFP blog, created to aggregate CFPs for religion and religious studies, issues a call on behalf of two scholars, Michael Goodrum (Essex) and Philip Smith (Loughborough), for a proposed edited volume on the cult TV series Firefly. Submissions of 5,000-7,000 words which fall into one of the following broad areas is preferred: Politics, Race, Class, Agency.

300-500 word proposals should be sent to mgoodr@essex.ac.uk by May 1st 2013. Proposals should include the author’s email address and affiliation. Full papers will be expected by September 1st 2013.
