Call for Papers on Gender, Religions and Media

The Journal for Communication Studies is seeking papers on Gender, Religion and Media for an upcoming issue. Paper proposals are welcome with theoretical approaches and case studies focusing on women’s issues. Some examples include, the representation, the expression and the identities of women in secular and religious media content; the way women relate to religious representations and expressions in secular and religious media content; the place (role, influence, authority, visibility, leadership) of religious women (in institutional and non-institutional settings) in religious media and more. The deadline for submissions is April 2, 2019.
