Bio Statement: 
Clyde A. Missier MSc. MA (PhD candidate Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) My PhD-research will contribute to the larger "Extreme Beliefs" research project: The Epistemology and Ethics of Fundamentalism and focus on the impact of right wing rhetoric and religious fundamentalism in social media on epistemic authority and social imaginaries of young adults (18-25 yr) from religious minority groups in Amsterdam (NL) and Mumbai (India). I also work as a lecturer, researcher and thesis supervisor at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and give courses in the field of Business & Media Ethics, Research Skills, Reputation Management and Innovation. I have a BA (honours) in Business Studies (University of Wolverhampton, UK) MSc. in Contemporary Asian Studies/Cultural Anthropology (University of Amsterdam) and MA in Religious Studies (VU University Amsterdam). My research experience and interests include Business Ethics, Media Ethics, Diversity Management, CSR/Sustainability, Cross Cultural Communications, Social Imaginaries. Before joining the University I worked as a financial journalist for Dutch daily De Telegraaf and US newswire Dow Jones and had various managerial positions in Media and Communications with multinationals.
