Eileen Crowley

I am Associate Professor of Liturgy, Arts, and Communications at Catholic Theological Union at Chicago IL. I teach communication skills for ministry, intercultural communication, digital social media, liturgical media arts, and photography as a spiritual practice, in addition to worship and arts courses. I have published two books related to my specialization: A MOVING WORD: MEDIA ART IN WORSHIP (Minneapolis MN: Augsburg Fortress, 2006) and LITURGICAL ARTS FOR A MEDIA CULTURE (Collegeville MN: Liturgical Press, 2007). I have encouraged church leaders to learn from New Media Artists and the Alternative Worship movement. I am currently doing research for a book on digital storytelling as ministry.
