Eric Trozzo

Eric Trozzo is the Director of the Lutheran Study Centre at Sabah Theological Seminary in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and Honorary Research Associate at Australian Lutheran College, University of Divinity, Adelaide, Australia. I am originally from the US and hold a PhD in Theological and Philosophical Studies from Drew University (2011). My area of focus is poststructuralist and political theology from a specifically Lutheran Christian viewpoint. My research work has extended into issues of technology and new media. My most recent book, The Cyberdimension: A Political Theology of Cyberspace and Cybersecurity, was published by Cascade Books in April 2019. It seeks to understand the significance of an infrastructural understanding of digital technologies and issues surrounding those technologies for Christian theology using 20th century Lutheran philosophical theologian Paul Tillich's concept of dimensions of life.
