Bio Statement: 
Jane Skjoldli, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Study of Religion at the University of Stavanger, Norway. She wrote her doctoral dissertation on the Catholic festival World Youth Day, where she developed the religious interaction analytical framework, has co-edited a volume on Charismatic Christianity in Finland, Norway, and Sweden, and published articles in the intersections between religion and popular culture, theorizing for example accusations of blasphemy. She is currently engaged in the research project Back to Blood: Pursuing a Future from the Norse Past, which is funded by the Norwegian Research Council.
