Cherry Muslim

I am the Islamic Studies lecturer in the School of Religion, Philosophy and Classics, UKZN, Durban, South Africa. I am the Director of the Islamic Studies Research Unit and was discipline leader for Religion for 8 years. My research interests are: Islam and gender , environmental ethics, online religion and digital media. I am presently completing my PhD which is at the intersection of Islam, gender, cyberspace and counterpower.
