Bio Statement:
I have a BD(Hons) and a PhD from Aberdeen University. From 2002-2008 I held at Lectureship in Religion, Gender and Ethics in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies, University of Leeds, where I taught theology, philosophy and medical students. Since then, I have been employed by York St John University, where I am currently Lecturer in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics and spent 8 years as Managing Editor of the International Journal of Public Theology. My primary research interests are public theology, John Macmurray scholarship, philosophy of religion, Christian ethics and feminist theology; hence, my research is interdisciplinary. My publications include articles on the role of religious reasons in the public space and the theological and philosophical concepts underlying the use of social media by Christian churches.
